The Bridge to Bridge on the south bank of the Waimakariri River is an incredible mountain biking experience that caters to riders of all levels. From a recreational 12km ride to an endurance-testing 115km ride, this bike ride is perfect for first-time riders and elite athletes alike.
The ride takes you on a journey along the Waimakariri River, showcasing the magic and power of this mighty river. You'll get to ride alongside the river, taking in the scenic views of the dairy farm land, the aerodrome, and more as you make your way towards the finish line.
One of the great things about this bike ride is that it's all downhill, making it accessible for riders of all ages. However, don't let that fool you - this is still a challenging ride. The 115km Enduro is especially tough, with half of the ride uphill and the other half downhill, providing a perfect balance for those up for the challenge.
Whether you want to go hard and fast or take your time and enjoy the scenery, this bike ride has something for everyone. You can even challenge your friends or family members for some fun competition and bragging rights. 4 Great Rides: 12km - Starts Haul road 30km - Starts The Willows 58km - Starts Waimakariri Gorge 115km - Starts Whites Crossing All rides finish at Whites Crossing.
