Run Mt Hutt – 25km
Distance: 25km (12.5km ascent and 12.5km descent)Start Location: Awa Awa Rata ReserveRoute: Ascend through lush native bush for the first 4.5km, transition to rugged alpine terrain, and continue along the Mt Hutt road to the ski field car park. You'll enjoy panoramic views before the descent back to the reserve.Difficulty: Advanced. Ideal for seasoned runners looking for a challenge with significant elevation gain and technical terrain.
Run Mt Hutt – 12km
Distance: 12km (6km ascent and 6km descent)Start Location: Awa Awa Rata ReserveRoute: Perfect for those looking for a shorter but still challenging run, this route will take you halfway up the Mt Hutt road before returning to the reserve.Difficulty: Intermediate. Suited for runners looking to test themselves without the full ascent.
